The prowler series was produced from 1997 thru 2002. Initially branded as Plymouth, it was changed to Chrysler in 2001 and 2002. These cars were modeled after the nostalgic 30's Hot Rod look, but with modern dependability and a vehicle able to drive any distance with confidence. This model is very low mileage with only 18,500 miles on the odometer. The original paint is the rare Metallic Orange, 1 of only 689 produced. It's powered by a 3.5L V6 with an automatic transmission. This exceptionally clean Prowler just received a new set of Nitto tires 225/45R 17's on the front and 295/40R 20's on the rear. This gives the car a very aggressive stance and accentuates the Hot Rod look! It also received new powder coating on all 4 rims with new center caps as well. All the brake pads were replaced as well as the calipers. We removed the unsightly factory front bumper and all steering and exposed parts were chrome wrapped. This is a gorgeous, low mileage, limited production two owner 2002 Chrysler Prowler. These cars were only produced for 5 years and this one was made in the final year with only 1,436made. The total amount in the whole production run was 11,702 which makes these fairly rare. When was the last time you saw one driving down the street? And if you did how many more have you seen regularly? This car was babied by the original owner and also by me. Both owners kept the car garage kept and only adult driven occasionally.The body has custom painted red flames along the side and the from grill. The resonator was removed and replaced with a high flow x-pipe for sound and additional air flow for extra horse power. The car was recently serviced and is turn key and ready to cruise to those car shows. Brand new TPMS on all 4 wheels, brand new front coil over shocks with end links. There is a small scratch on the plastic rear fender guard, and two tiny holes in the convertible top from wear from closing and opening. No leaks when wet.
